Learning new blending skills in art class this term, including painting a glass jar with water which I would not have attempted at home alone. It is a very slow process, teaching me both patience and blending. I found it easier to paint the details upside down as it was a little too much for my mind to comprehend if I stepped back and looked at the bigger picture.
It was best to trick or override the brain and break it down into small parts. Again, learning from the teacher that it really is all about the small details that make a huge difference to your quality of work. It definitely was a rewarding project.
Below is another project from the same term on blending and fabric at art class using 2 colours.
