Pet Portrait Commissions.

I am loving learning new techniques in art class. I've never had the space for a solo art studio so have not really dabbled in oil painting, it takes time to dry (acrylic can take minutes) - although you don't get the same effect.

This was my first dog portrait in oil paint on canvas with a purple underpainting, Penny was a Ridgeback. It was a commission and they requested the teal background, which I love (my favourite colour).

We were learning pet portraits this term and since I don't have a pet I have started taking orders - and the response has been overwhelming. I'll be painting pet portraits until the end of the year. If you would like your pet custom painted, prices are on my commission page.
